Ingredients

Ingredients define a product. At Worker B, we use only the finest materials; organic whenever possible. No fillers, no gimmicky, novelty, or small proportion ingredients. By no means do we use: Water, Petroleum Products, Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances, Synthetic Dyes, Petrochemicals, Phthalates, GMOs, Triclosan, or any other synthetic/questionable ingredients. raw honey

Honey has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that help to decrease pain and the appearance of scars, and that leads to faster wound healing. It contains flavonoids that help protect cells and inhibit histamine; a substance involved in allergic reactions. Honey creates a moist healing environment that allows skin cells to regrow across a healing wound flush with the surface of the wound, preventing scarring and deformity of the skin. Unlike other topical antiseptics, honey causes no tissue damage.

beeswax

Beeswax has anti-inflammatory properties and is included in formulas to treat burns and other skin conditions. Beeswax contains vitamin A, which is essential for human cell development. Beeswax is also an anti-oxidant and has some free radical-scavenging ability. Providing greater permanence on skin and lip surfaces, beeswax has emollient, soothing and softening properties and helps the skin retain moisture. Even after processing, beeswax remains a biologically active product, retaining its anti-bacterial properties. Beeswax forms a protective network on the skin’s surface, and works as a soothing and healing agent in salves designed for burns, cuts and other wounds.

propolis

Propolis is rich in organic compounds including caffeic acid, acacetin, ketone and benzoic acid, all of which are known fighters of inflammation and infection and histamine reactions. Propolis also is rich in bioflavanoids. These compounds are being used to heal leaking capillaries and blood vessels among a multitude of other benefits including attacking viruses and tough medically resistant bacteria. Propolis was originally used in oral care and relief balms for radiation patients. It is also affective in eczema treatment/management.

organic extra virgin olive oil

Olive oil is a great oil for skin care, especially dry skin. It makes an excellent conditioner for hair and nails. A good oil for making salves and infusions. Olive oil is rich in minerals, vitamins, proteins and essential fatty acids, especially alpha linolenic acid. Extra virgin oil contains a variety of anti-oxidants as well as an unusually high level of squalene. Olive oil contains flavonoids that help protect cells and inhibit histamine (a substance involved in allergic reactions). Olive Oil balances PH levels, contains vitamin E, and helps with eczema. Olive oil possesses oleocanthal – a powerful anti-inflammatory, anti-aging compound and pain killer. An excellent softener for the skin, olive oil also has antibacterial properties and the ability to inhibit substances that lead to inflammation.

organic almond oil

Almond oil is cold pressed from the almond itself. Almond oil contains glucosides, minerals, vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 D and E, and is rich in protein. Helpful to all skin types, almond oil is especially good for eczema. It helps relieve itching, soreness, dryness and inflammation caused by eczema, psoriasis, and any type of dermatitis. Good for sensitive or irritated skin. Almond oil is useful against burns and thread veins. Very lubricating, but not penetrating, almond oil is a good massage oil, protectant, and an excellent baby oil to protect the diaper area. Sweet Almond oil is a good all-purpose carrier oil; conditioning, emollient, softens and smooths skin.

organic avocado oil

Avocado oil is said to be rich in essential and trace minerals and Vitamin A. Avocado oil contains high amounts of Vitamins A, B1, B2, D, and E. Also contains amino acids, minerals, proteins, sterols, pantothenic acid, lecithin, beta carotene and other essential fatty acids. Avocado oil is highly prized to those with skin problems such as eczema, psoriasis, and other skin ailments. It is highly recommended to those with sensitive, dehydrated or problem skin and other irritations that require vitamin rich oil. Good for dermal regeneration. Avocado oil easily penetrates the skin, acts as sunscreen and helps in cell regeneration. Avocado oil delays aging as it is rich in essential fatty acids and improves skin elasticity. Avocado oil’s moisturizing and skin softening properties make it a valuable addition to anti-wrinkle, anti-aging and mature skin blends.

vitamin e

Tocopherols (vitamin E) are a natural anti-oxidant that helps to slow the aging process by scavenging free radicals, heals, moisturizes, protects, and prevents scarring. We use a soy-based vitamin E; no sugar, starch, salt, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, milk, egg, shellfish, or preservatives. A vegetarian/vegan friendly vitamin.

rosehip seed

Pleasantly pink, Rosehip Seed Oil is high in vitamins C and A, fatty acids and antioxidants. It promotes cell turnover and stimulates tissue regeneration.

kukui nut

Soothing and easily absorbed, Kukui Nut Oil is rich in essential fatty acids. Also works to help soften the skin.

sesame seed

Naturally antibacterial, this antioxidant rich oil helps to neutralize oxygen radicals. On the skin, Sesame Seed Oil attracts toxins which can then be washed away. Also helps tone and tight the skin.

grapeseed

A powerful antioxidant, Grapeseed Oil also works as a mildly astringent skin tightener. This is a penetrating oil, full of vitamins, minerals and fatty acids.

wheat germ

Rich in vitamins A, D, and E, Wheatgerm Oil helps prevent moisture loss from the skin. Also works to even out complexion and skin tone.

red raspberry seed

High in antioxidants and vitamin E, rich in omegas 3 and 6, this superior oil aids with the prevention of rashes, eczema and other skin conditions. Anti-inflammatory properties complete the package.

watermelon seed

Helps dissolve sebum build up on the skin and is high in omegas 6 and 9, B vitamins, magnesium and zinc. Works to rejuvenate skin elasticity.

apricot kernel

Assisting in moisture balancing, Apricot Kernel Oil is high in vitamin E and A, and essential fatty acids. Helps to reduce inflammation and soften the skin.

cranberry seed

With its balanced ratio of fatty acids, Cranberry Seed Oil has been shown to prevent sun damage, and assist in skin tightening. High in antioxidants, vitamins E, C and K, as well omegas 3, 6 and 9.

meadowfoam seed

Made almost entirely of long chain fatty acids, antioxidant rich Meadowfoam Seed Oil, delivers as a skin softener, and helps to prevent moisture loss.

pumpkin seed

Pumpkin Seed Oil is high in zinc, vitamin E and selenium. Works to improve skin tone.

sea buckthorn

High in beta carotene and vitamins C, E, and A, Sea Buckthorn Oil is a very well rounded ingredient. Has even been used to treat radiation burn in space.

elderberry

Rich in antioxidants and anthocyanins, Elderberry Extract helps stimulate the epidermis, promoting cell growth and rejuvenation. Also assists in softening the skin and control acne.

bilberry

Full of vitamins B, C and E, Bilberry Extract works to repair damage and tone the skin. Additionally, it acts as an anti-inflammatory and anti-aging agent increasing cell growth to rejuvenate the skin.

horsetail

A natural source of silica, Horsetail strengthens connective tissue, and fades the appearance of fine lines. Also shown to promote collagen formation, helping to repair the skin.

raspberry leaf

High in magnesium and vitamin C, Raspberry Leaf acts as an astringent and provides skin toning qualities.

marshmallow

Helping to sooth inflammation, Marshmallow Extract assists in skin toning and evening of skin complexion.

burdock

With its antiseptic and anti-microbial properties, Burdock works to help detoxify the skin and add repair and soothing qualities to formulations.

plantain

While providing anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and cell rejuvenation aspects, Plantain also helps with the absorption of other ingredients.

chamomile

Roman chamomile offers analgesic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant, antioxidant, calming effects. It soothes the skin and the senses. Although beneficial for all skin types, chamomile is particularly therapeutic for those with irritated, allergenic, dry, or sensitive skin. It is high in vitamin E and improves complexion.

rosemary

Rosemary adds antioxidant, astringent, cleansing, nurturing, and regenerative properties. Suitable for all skin types, particularly wrinkled, devitalized, mature, acneic, burned, and sun-damaged skin. Rosemary’s clarifying properties help relieve skin congestion and reduce swelling, and are beneficial for improving blood circulation.

lavender

Lavender has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties; its cicatrizing properties help the skin heal faster and the cytophylactic properties will help it do so with less scarring. The soothing and anti-inflammatory action of lavender oil will also have a balancing action on the skin and can be used for dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, boils, carbuncles and acne.

bergamot

Traditionally, Bergamot has been used for wounds and cuts, psoriasis, oily skin, scabies, eczema, acne, cold sores as well as chicken pox.
