A honeybee generates wax scales from four pairs of abdominal glands. Collectively, worker bees produce 500,000 wax scales, consume eight pounds of honey, and fly 150,000 miles to create one pound of beeswax. Worker B beeswax is sourced from select beekeepers chosen for their dedication to sustainable relationships with honeybees. A white bloom occurs naturally and is a mark of pure, high quality beeswax.

I bought this candle a few years back and used it for decoration for a while because it’s so pretty and perfect. When I finally burned it I didn’t realize I was supposed to remove the paper (bad practice; I don’t promote that at all) and as it burned it would illuminate through the design on the paper and was even more beautiful. It lasted a very long time and burned clean and even. Love supporting local beekeepers and honey! Highly recommend!!

***Even though it was wrong to leave the paper on, I did trim the paper as it burned down. Also always trim your wicks after each burn!
